A regulated certificate is issued by an Awarding Body. Recognised Awarding Bodies are registered with the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual). Ofqual regulates qualifications, examinations and assessments in England. Ofqual is a non-ministerial department of the government. (https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/ofqual).
Certificates are normally issued in pdf format and emailed to the learner up to 3 days after successful completion of the course.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to any candidate who arrives after the course has started or those exhibiting unruly or anti-social behaviour to either its staff or other trainees. Any such incident will result in the immediate removal of the offending party.
Candidates must adhere to timings as stipulated on the course joining instructions. Failure to attend and participate in any part of the course will result in the candidate's removal from the final examination (where applicable).
Attendees on any of the First Aid courses must be free from any ailment, condition or injury that will affect their ability to participate in practical and theory assessments. We will not be able to issue a regulated certificate if not all requirements are met, ie inability to demonstrate the practical skills required of the course or not attaining a passing mark on the written test (where applicable).
Candidates placed on the First Aid at Work Requalification course must be in possession of a valid FAW regulated certificate.
